Effective January 2005, payment of housing fees with Electricity and Water bills
In line with our policy to simplify procedures for our customers, it has been decided to collect the housing fees through Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) bills, as from the beginning of 2005.
- The fees shall be at the rate of 5% of the rental value or the value estimated by Dubai Municipality.
- Registration: DEWA's offices (at Head office & all branches).
- Categories required to register: Tenants, real estate companies, landlords.
- Fess payable by: All tenants & residential owners within Dubai Emirate.
